New Directions Beauty Institute provides a quality education through a new way to teaching and a fun way of learning. Each applicant, for enrollment, will have the opportunity to meet with an Administrative Representative. This representative will guide the applicant through the enrollment process. Each potential student will be given a tour of our new facility, After completeing the tour the applicnt will be given information regarding the curriculum for the career in which he/she show interest in obtaining an education and licensening for. We will also provide each future student with all applicable policies and procedures, class schedules, payment options, as well as, the future open class schedules that the applicant could enroll in.

One must meet the physical demands and requirements set forth by employers. Professional Safety and extended hours, must be aware of the hazards of working with electrical equipment, should be able to understand and follow manufacturer’s instructions for mixing chemicals, working with hot tools, chemical allergies. Prolonged standing/sitting.
Sanitation rules and regulations directed by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.
Any person in the fields of Cosmetology, Natural Hair, Manicuring and Esthetics must complete the required hours of training pertaining to their contractual agreements and successfully pass licensing requirements of the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.

For foreign applicants, if your Diploma is not in English, it must be translated into English and notarized in the United States prior to enrolling

Foreign applicants must provide proof of citizenship (visa/green card, naturalization document, etc)

If you have accumulated hours from a previous school, and wish to transfer those hours to New Directions Beauty Institute, you must request, from the State Cosmetology and Barber Board, that they send your hours to this school. This must be done before enrollment.
